Day 1: Munich
Arrival in Munich. Transfer to the hotel. Evening at leisure.

Day 2: Munich - Altötting - Regensburg
Together with your tour guide you will leave Munich to visit several places where Pope Benedict XVI (Joseph Ratzinger) stayed during his life time:
Traunstein - Joseph finished high school here (Chiemgau-Gymnasium) in 1943 and studied at the Archbishop's seminary on Wartberghöhe.
Tittmoning - here Joseph's family lived from1929 and little Joseph went to playschool in the previous Augustinian Monastery.
Altötting - The Bavarian National Sanctuary has been visited by several Popes. Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger ministered numerous services and pilgrims' events.
Marktl - At the market square you can see the house where Joseph Ratzinger was born.
Aschau - Joseph Ratzinger went to Primary School and received the First Holy Communion.
Au - Here he took piano lessons.
In the evening you will arrive at  Regensburg. Dinner in your hotel and overnight stay.

Day 3: Regensburg
In the morning meet your local guide who will show your around many places linked with our Pope. Visit his private house in Pentling, a suburb to Regensburg, his family graves in Regensburg, the Cathedral and the university where professor Joseph Ratzinger taught in Dogmatic Studies and Dogmatic History. The afternoon is at leisure for own discoveries of Regensburg.

Day 4: Regensburg - Munich
Travel back to Munich where Pope Benedict got his Ph. D. in Theology in 1953. There he was appointed Archbishop of Munich-Freising in 1977 and then Cardinal by Pope Paul VI. In the afternoon your guide will show you Munich with all the interesting sights like Frauenkirche and the historic city centre.

Day 5: End of the tour
After breakfast you will leave Munich and your travel will be finished.
