Tradition, atmosphere and the enormous offer of the Christmassy decorated booths are typical for the Christmas markets in Würzburg and Rothenburg. Visit two of the most atmospheric Christmas markets in Germany in front of historical coulisses: Würzburg with the gotic Marienkapelle and alkenhaus. Rothenburg: Music of wind instruments, played scenes of the Christmas story and the visit of Santa Claus on 6th December are typical for this beautiful market.

Itinerary

Day 1: Frankfurt - Würzburg
After your arrival in Frankfurt you will travel to Würzburg. Meet your guide and visit one of the most atmospheric Christmas markets in front of historical coulisse with the Gotic Marienkapelle and Falkenhaus. More than 95 stands present their Christmas products. Of course, hot spiced wine and sugarroasted almonds are offered there, too! Dinner in your booked hotel.

Day 2: excursion to Rothenburg - Würzburg at leisure 
After breakfast you will travel to Rothenburg, the world famous town with its beautiful Christmas market. The town will be presented to you a by city guide who knows the town as its best. Be impressed by the beautifuly buildings and the Christmas atmosphere. In the early afternoon return to Würzburg, time at leisure to discover Würzburg.

Day 3: Würzburg - Frankfurt
Return to Frankfurt.
